Synopsis
An outbreak of canine flu in Japan leads all dogs to be quarantined on an island. A boy journeys there to rescue his dog Spots and gets help from a pack of misfit canines who have also been exiled.

Is it worth the fight?
Two opposing dog packs gather around the most recently dropped sack of trash on Trash island. After the initial stare down, growling and teeth baring, Rex suggests, “Wait a sec; before we attack each other and tear ourselves to shreds like a pack of maniacs, let’s just open the sack first and see what’s actually in it. It might not even be worth the trouble.” After both sides agree, the sack is opened – revealing a putrid smorgasbord of rotting food. Chief, “Okay, it’s worth it,” as teeth and fur begin to fly!

What’s your favourite food?
During a downtime on their quest to find Spots, King asks the pack what their favourite food is. After a variety of answers ranging from canned dog food to rib-eye steak, they ask their leader Chief for his favourite food (whom they’ve always believed to be a stray): “Garbage, trash, scraps of rubbish; I’m used to leftovers. Of course, I wasn’t always a stray…” immediately getting the group’s attention!
